Jinshi Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines data handling practices for the Jinshi (锦时起名) WeChat Mini Program, a classical poetry and literature-based naming tool.
1. WeChat Runtime and Account Independence
Jinshi operates strictly within the WeChat Mini Program runtime environment. It does not require you to create an independent account, provide a password, or submit personal identity profiles. Standard WeChat platform identifiers necessary to maintain basic session state are managed by the WeChat client and server.
2. Naming Requests and Encryption in Transit
When you request name suggestions, the parameters you choose—such as surname, gender preference, name length, and selected classical literature anthologies—are encrypted using AES-256-CBC with dynamic salting and sent over secure HTTPS to our backend API. The backend consults classical poetry databases and AI language models to propose verses and characters. No real-world identity or device tracking data is sent to the AI service.
3. Local Storage and Favorites
Names you choose to favorite are stored entirely locally on your device via WeChat Mini Program local storage (wx.setStorage). This data is kept strictly inside your local WeChat sandbox and is not uploaded to any remote server or shared with third parties. Clearing WeChat storage or removing the mini program clears your saved favorites.
4. No Analytics Tracking or Third-Party SDKs
Jinshi does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics, or location trackers. Network requests are strictly limited to necessary encrypted API calls for generating name candidates.
5. Support and Retention
If you reach out to support@yybit.cn for questions or assistance, your email address and message content are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not retain support inquiries longer than required to address your request. This policy will be updated as features evolve.
